PFund Foundation is excited to announce that we have awarded $3,000 apiece to four LGBTQ+ organizations within the state of Minnesota. These cross-organizational partnerships—funded by the Minnesota Department of Health—will support the work these organizations are doing to promote COVID-19 vaccination, prevention, and testing in the queer community.

The list of grant recipients is as follows:

ORGANIZATION NAME

Thai Cultural Council of Minnesota: Grant funds will be used to support the organization’s continued outreach efforts during COVID-19.

Red River Seniors Oral History Project: Grant funds will be used to purchase supplies to keep interviewers and interviewees safe from COVID-19 while conducting its oral history project.

Project PhoojYwg: Funds will be used to continue the organization’s distribution of PPE supplies, including at events such as Hmong New Year celebrations and Hmong elder centers.

Queer Student Cultural Center at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities: Funds will be used to support the purchase of PPE to allow the center to continue to provide services in-person while avoiding COVID-19.
