The TRANSCEND Fund addresses the emerging needs of our Transgender & gender non-conforming community members. TRANSCEND funding is used to support Trans+ rights advocacy and general operating support for organizations that support Trans+ & gender non-conforming folks throughout their lives.

About the TRANSCEND Fund:
Organizations serving Trans+ and gender non-conforming people can submit a general operating grant request for an on-going or emerging need that aligns with the program purpose and goals. Grants of $5,000-$50,000 will be available to organizations serving Trans+ and gender non-conforming communities in PFund’s 5-state service area (Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin).
TRANSCEND organization grant applications will go through our participatory grant-making process, where LGBTQ+ community members participate in the grant recommendation process from late October to early November. Click here to view a recording of the informational webinar held on September 26, 2024. Click here to see the application evaluation tool community members will use to evaluate grant applications.
*Beginning in 2025, 90% of TRANSCEND donations will directly support grant making, and 10% of TRANSCEND donations will support the administrative costs of our community-based grant reviews and grant application software expenses.
