Description and key learning objectives for this section:
The first PRISM cohort in 2022-23 is facing an unprecedented national rollback of LGBTQ rights. This session will guide participants through a process of assessing their assets and clarifying their biggest goals for the next 2-3 years. How can we leverage our communities to keep moving forward, imagining and creating our future, rather than just being on the defensive? The group will discuss strategies to stay focused, take care of themselves, and not take on too much. Participants will create two tools: (1) an action plan for the organization for the next few years and (2) a creative expression that you can hang up or display as a reminder of why you do this work, that can keep you uplifted, focused, and grounded through challenging chapters.
