Meet your Instructor
Ro Washington is the Director of Corporate and Foundation Partnerships at The Nonprofit Center, where she focuses on building connections and facilitating change. Previously, she was the volunteer manager for Dow in the Delaware Valley, leveraging volunteerism to support Dow’s global citizenship. Ro has also helped develop volunteer programs for the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America and worked as a research technician at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. In addition, she serves as a volunteer staff member for Epic Church, a camp counselor with the Ronald McDonald Camp and a board member with Camp Rainbow, reflecting her commitment to community and collaboration.
Description and key learning objectives for this section:
Cultivating mission-aligned programs that drive change is vital for organizational success. Yet, many programs lack comprehensive planning that evaluates their entire impact. In this session, participants will learn to design community-centric programs, and master the skills of building, evaluating, and, if necessary, modifying or sunsetting them. Through facilitated discussions, attendees will delve into strategies for robust program management.
