$10,000 in TRANSCEND funds granted to third spaces in Minnesota and North Dakota

Minneapolis, June 5, 2024–PFund Foundation today announces the first two grants funded by donations from the 2024 TRANSCEND Campaign.
PFund’s 2024 TRANSCEND Campaign is a peer-to-peer fundraising initiative that supports transgender individuals and families in securing appropriate and affirming medical care, accessing safe learning environments, and sponsoring queer- and trans-focused events across the Upper Midwest.
The 2024 TRANSCEND grants are as follows:
Parachigo |North Dakota | $5,000
Parachigo provides an affirming environment for LGBTQ community members to gather and share joy through art in Fargo, North Dakota. Parachigo also serves as a third space, allowing for our community to connect and grow. These funds will help Parachigo with its space to hold support groups, crafting workshops, music performances, and other events that remain accessible to all members of the community.
Rainbow Wellness Collective | Minnesota | $5,000
Rainbow Wellness Collective in Saint Cloud, Minnesota provides a vibrant, safe space for individuals in the 2SLGBTQIA+ to thrive, feel a sense of community, and be empowered through a wide range of activities, programming, and services available. These funds will help strengthen their current programs and develop new free and low cost programs for the community, including hosting transgender and BIPOC support groups, and expanding their reach to the transgender community by hosting free workshops that cover everything from HRT and surgeries to makeup and styling.
