PFund awards seven sponsorships to LGBTQ+ events across the region

PFund Foundation is pleased to announce seven new sponsorships totaling $5,750 that will support a variety of queer-focused events across the region. As part of PFund’s mission of building equity across the Upper Midwest for queer people, we offer limited event sponsorship funds, which are awarded on a quarterly basis. The amount and purpose of sponsorships funds awarded in quarter two of 2023 are as follows:

Dakota Pro Musica | Bismark, ND$1,000
In support of a concert piece performance which tells the story of Matthew Shepard’s kidnapping and murder on October 6, 1998.

Bemidji Pride | Bemidji, MN$500
In support of the annual festival to celebrate the queer, two-spirit, and allied communities in northern Minnesota.

City of Austin Human Rights Commission | Austin, MN | $500
In support of the commission’s efforts to produce a Pride event in Austin, Minnesota.

Dance TV Studios | St. Paul, MN$1,000
In support of Dance TV, an original, live theatrical show with a mission of building community for LGBTQ+ individuals.

One Iowa | West Des Moines, IA$1,250
In support of the One Iowa Midwest LGBTQ Health and Wellness Conference.

Grand Forks Pride | Grand Forks, ND | $1,000
In support of the 2023 Grand Forks Pride event.
 
Gender Justice St. Paul, MN | $500
In support of the Gender Justice Brunch event.
