2022 PFund Scholars Announced
The board of directors and staff of PFund Foundation are pleased to announce that we have named 51 LGBTQ+ students as 2022 PFund Scholars. Thanks to PFund’s generous community of donors, we were able to more than double the amount of scholarships we distributed this year, with over $124,000 in funds supporting adult queer learners from the upper Midwest at all stages of their educations.
“Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, we know our LGBTQ students are struggling. I am so proud that our community has responded generously in supporting these students with scholarships ranging from $1,000-$12,000!” stated executive director Aaron Zimmerman. “Our team of community volunteers spent hours diligently reviewing more than 120 applications. While we always wish we could fund everyone, we are beyond thrilled with the talent and leadership abilities of this year’s cohort of PFund Scholars.”
Only scholars who are comfortable sharing their information publicly have been listed.
