Meet Your Instructors
Candida Gonzalez is a 2022-23 Equity Fund grant recipient and a queer, trans, non-binary mixed Puerto Rico native of South Minneapolis. They studied Latin American Art and History at The Evergreen State College and went on to get their M.Ed. at The University of Minnesota in 2003. They are the owner of Las Ranas Jewelry.
Jason Jackson is the Director of Equity, Inclusion and Belonging for Minnesota Management and Budget and a 2023-24 Humphrey Policy Fellow at the University of Minnesota. Jason has BA and MA degrees from the University of Minnesota.
