Business Grants
PFund provides grants, education and community building to LGBTQ+ entrepreneurs and small business owners across the Upper Midwest.
PFund provides direct capital alongside cohort-based networking, and starting in 2027 a Loan Fund designed to support early-stage entrepreneurs with micro loans and financial education. PFund is building an ecosystem where queer-owned businesses can start, grow, and thrive. Applications go through our community review process and awards are distributed in September each year.


Small Business Grants
PFund Small Business Grants are for LGBTQ+ small business owners and entreprnuers in the Upper Midwest. These grants are $5,000 per year for two years and include business membership to Quorum, the LGBTQ+ chamber of commerce, and to the PFund Small Business Cohort which includes monthly learning and networking sessions.
Applications will open on June 8, 2026 and be due by 5pm central on July 20, 2026. Applications go through the community review process and awards will be distributed in September 2026.
To apply for a Small Business Grant, businesses must:
- Align with PFund’s Mission and Vision.
- Identify as LGBTQ+ owned.
- Have been in operation for at least one year.
- Have an annual gross revenue of less than $250,000 for your most recently completed fiscal year.

Small Business Loans
The Loan Fund will provide micro loans to early stage LGBTQ+ small businesses and entrepreneurs alongside capacity building and financial education to increase bankability, investment readiness, and the long-term success of these businesses.
