The Fargo-Moorhead Pride Collective and Community Center first opened in October of 2000, with the purpose of creating a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA2S+ individuals of the area. Like many important resources, The Collective was the product of a number of generous donors, dedicated volunteers, and with the passion of hardworking Midwesterners that made this much needed space a reality. Since the space has been open to the public, there has been anywhere between 5 and 10 groups operating through it.
