Aliveness Project

Aliveness Project logo

Aliveness Project has been adapting to the ever changing needs of people living with or at risk of HIV for the past 41 years. In 1985, our founders came together to support their friends and loved ones living with HIV/AIDS who were struggling to meet their basic needs. What began as a potluck has since grown into wraparound network of services including daily meals, a food shelf, case management, mental health services, housing help, name change clinics, insurance navigation, harm reduction services, wound care, transportation, testing, and free pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) through our onsite clinic and pharmacy. We have the knowledge, tools, and expertise to significantly reduce new HIV infections and prevent the progression to AIDS in Minnesota. The founders of Aliveness made history in their care for people living with HIV/AIDS, now we are ready to make history once again by ending HIV in Minnesota.
