Let’s all follow these important steps for community health:
· Vaccination provides the best protection against becoming seriously ill from COVID-19. Vaccines are available for COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases such as influenza (flu) and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Talk to your doctor to make sure your vaccine protection is up to date. Stay Up to Date with COVID-19 Vaccines (CDC)
· Improved hygiene includes many simple steps such as washing your hands and covering your cough. Wear a mask, Keep physical distance, and if feeling ill, Test for respiratory viruses
· Cleaner air: Actions like opening windows or holding gatherings outside help to decrease the amount of virus in the air.
· If you are sick or think you could be: Stay home when you are sick and take precautions to prevent spread.
Enjoy this beautiful May, and take care of your health!
