Ghosts, Goblins, and a Global Pandemic | Fun and spooky ideas to enjoy a safe Halloween
Halloween is going to look a little different this year, but there are still safe ways to have a fun spooky season! Celebrate with your family by carving pumpkins, watching a scary movie, or decorating your space!
If you or someone in your family is at higher risk from getting very sick from COVID-19, plan on doing a lower risk activity this year, like a virtual costume contest or an in-home scavenger hunt!
A Halloween costume mask isn’t a substitute for a cloth mask! Remember: the best masks have two layers of fabric and cover your nose and mouth. We don’t recommend wearing a cloth or disposable mask under a costume mask because it might be difficult to breathe.
Having friends over for a socially distanced monster mash? Remember:
- Opt for small outdoor gatherings (less than 25 people).
- Don’t share food or drinks.
- Wear masks whether you’re indoors or outdoors.
- Remind guests to stay home if they feel sick!
