PFund Foundation uses a community-driven review process to identify and recognize leaders. The committee is made up of LGBTQA and allied volunteers who diligently review applications, select finalist and recommend awards to the Board of Directors for approval. Once the Board approves the recommendations, we will notify all applicants via email and mail.

Leadership Development Opportunities
For question 11, we ask that you state the name of school or leadership development opportunity that you are enrolled in or are applying for. PFund Foundation’s scholarship is not a school or a leadership development opportunity.
Please look at the examples below:
Normandale Community College, North Dakota State University, Human Resources Certificate, Certified Welder Program, Rockwood Leadership Institute, Creating Change Conference, Wellstone Action, etc.
Essay Questions
We would like to reiterate that we run a highly competitive scholarship program and want to ensure that all applicants have the same opportunity to fully articulate themselves. Our essay portion – question 17-19 requires the equivalent of three-pages written. Each question asks for a minimum of 1,000 characters and a maximum of 3,500 characters, equivalent to 1 page written.
