Tito Catuncan identifies as a cisgender, gay, second-generation Filipino American male who is a recent transplant to the Twin Cities from Chicago. After graduating with his Masters of Social Work from Augsburg College in 2015, he aims to provide culturally responsive therapy, counseling, advocacy, and community education to reduce stigma around adults with mental illness, especially those who identify as LGBTQ and/or members of communities of color. Outside of PFund Foundation, Tito works as a Housing Case Manager, is involved with a Social Justice Collaborative at his workplace, and currently co-facilitates a pilot support group for LGBTQ Hmong Asian Pacific Islander youth through RECLAIM! and Shades of Yellow (SOY.) Tito has also served on SOY’s Leadership Circle, been involved with RECLAIM!’s People of Color Cohort, served on PFund Foundation's 2016 Scholarship Review Committee, and interned at OutFront Minnesota’s Anti-Violence Program.
